Western Tanganyika College Ltd (WETACO) is a private Institution owned by board of Directors and has been registered 2008 under the Company Act (CAP. 212) of 2002 as an education institution. It’s also registered by NBAA with registration number. TPRS/051 and NACTE with registration number REG/BMG/032 by full registration in 2012 after fulfillment of NACTE’s requirements. It was officially launching to operate such programs in August 2008.It is  also full accredited

Currently, the institute is offering certificate and diploma (NTA level 4, 5 & 6) in Pharmaceutical Science, Business Administration,Records, Archives and Information Management.
